  • Technical Issues



    I have had AT& T uverse and internet services for about 4 months. The service is horrible! If you live in The Hack berry Creek area I would suggest a different carrier. Their technical support has been to my house 4 times. Of course they get everything up and running, and when they leave so does my service. Finally, fed up so I am trying to cancel my service and upon doing so I was advised that I am going to be charged $150 bucks for an early termination fee.   • ATT UVERSE & FAX LINE



    I have been enrolled into a Uverse bundle of tel, tv, internet of AT&T Uverse. After about 5 to six months of fight over wrong billings, recently I have found that the fax of my multi task (copy, fax, scan, etc. of Brothers) does not work. I did check it with Brothers tech support and it has been adjusted to the cable, but said the cable provider has to adjust his system too. But ATT refused to do it, as they are not trained for or it is their policy to make more money $ and i have been referred to a private company to fix it for a monthly fee !!! More...

    I want to say that employee DT165J, know to me as Deon, did an exceptional job handling my complaint today. While I am still very unsatisfied with my uverse television service over the past 18 months, Deon understood my problem and made sure I was okay with his attempt at a resolution.   • Customer Service Fiasco



    I began having problems with my DVR and all the recording and playback features. I called ATT - spent 20 minutes on the phone with a young man who asked for a number in case we got disconnected. After 20 minutes we were in fact disconnected. He never called back. I called again - reached someone in Denver who told me that the first individual never processed the order for the new box.   • Unfair billing practices



    I have been trying unsuccessfully for the past 4 months to make payment arrangements for my account that I am able to afford. AT&T insists that any payment arrangement consist of payment of the full monthly balance plus an additional amount to have the back balance paid over four payments. When I tried to explain that I am unemployed and requested that the arrangements temporarily spread out until I begin receiving my disability they repeated and usually rudely refused.     I have been battling AT&T for 5 & 1/2 months over incorrect billing, They have been overcharging me every month since March 2011. I have been assured each time I call that the problem has been fixed. They haven't corrected the problem yet I have been on the phone over 700 minutes in that time and if they don't get it right this month I am going back to Cox even though I don't think they are any better.     Our local consumer advocate suggested we check out AT&T complaints on the net before purchasing. I was really surprised at all the negative stuff. I got Uverse installed when it was first available in our neighborhood (three years ago) and have never had an issue either with the quality reception or billing.   • Unhappy AT&T/Uverse Customer



    I am very frustrated with AT & T/Uverse; I find it is one of the worst companies to deal with. Trying to reach a customer service representative is like playing tag, they just keep transferring the call from one agent to another. I was lured from Comcast to Uverse and after signing up I did not received the reward promised to me by the Uverse/Att representative. The person that referred me for Uverse never received their award; in addition their line-up of channels sucks.     AT&T UVERSE IS GETTING REALLY BAD ABOUT LOSING CHANNELS. FIRST WE LOST HALLMARK, WHICH WAS MY FAVORITE CHANNEL AND THE ONLY REASON I DROPPED MY REGULAR CABLE WAS BECAUES THEY DID NOT HAVE HALLMARK & AT&T UVERSE DID.     At&t U-Verse is a total bunch of CRAP!!!, When it was sold to me, it wasn't even available in my area. Took over 3 wks to get it. I have had it now for 1 week, and I have only had a signal for 3 days out of the seven. Tech support says they are booked and I cannot get anyone out for another 3 days. I gave up Direct TV (which was no longer under contract) I gave up Comcast Internet (which was not under contract, and a very good price) I thought AT&T would be reliable, but they have not been.     I switched to Uverse about 2 months ago and it has been nothing but trouble. Terrible customer service, tv freezes, internet slow. They have replaced the tv box 3 times and 1 "repairman" re-did the work of the original installer. Nothing but problems with their e mail and no one knows how to fix it !     I have 2 complaints: 1) Uverse Voice mail will download my phone messages to Firefox (or IE8) upon request, and will attempt to open either Windows Media Player (or iTunes) upon media selection--BUT, it will not open the message an play it. 2) I called them twice and spent over six hours trying to fix the problem with 7 different people.   • horrible customer service



    I looked into getting ATT uverse. I was sold by the internet presentation. On May 23, 2009 a installer came to the house to install it. The installer came in with one piece of equipment a ground tester. He asked me if I had any grounded outlets in the house(three pronged) I showed it to him and none were grounded he said and that he couldnt install it.     I subscribe to ATT Uverse...complete package of Phone, Hi Speed Internet and Television (Four (4) boexes..one DVR. I would like to program into my T.V. the weather at various places of interest..and NOT the four cities listed. The instructions in the "Help" section are totally USELESS. And the Website is even WORSE. This is more complicated than it needs to be, and very frustrating. Also, I sometimes like to play a game on the T.V. .. just to pass the time.
